Skip the main road and enter Alcudia through this imposing stone gateway. It is the best spot to start your walk along the preserved Renaissance walls. The climb up to the ramparts is steep but offers solid views of the terracotta roofs and distant mountains. It takes about 20 minutes to circle the wall section. Go right before sunset for the best lighting. Don't waste money on tours; just wander the perimeter yourself.
