Skip the crowded Aksla viewpoint and hike the 30-minute trail up Storhaugen instead. You get the same jagged coastline and harbor perspective without dodging bus tour crowds. The path gets muddy after rain, so wear actual shoes, not just your cute sneakers. Once you hit the summit, grab a seat on the rocks and watch the hurtigruten ferry pull into port. It’s the best spot in town to kill an hour on a clear day.
