The Song of the World tapestry series covers ten massive panels, wrapping around the stone walls with high-contrast, surreal imagery that hits different in person. Spend about an hour here, preferably on a weekday morning to dodge the crowds. Don’t miss the shaded courtyard on your way out. It is weirdly cool and completely worth the detour from central Angers.
