
The itinerary begins in Melfi at the majestic Melfi Castle, a symbol of Norman and medieval power, featuring imposing towers and fortified walls.
Inside, visitors can explore courtyards, halls, and historic corridors, as well as the National Archaeological Museum Massimo Pallottino, which houses artifacts from Lucanian and Roman populations, including weapons, ceramics, and funerary goods.
