Look for the black footprint at the entrance—legend says the devil stood there to mock the builder. The interior is surprisingly minimalist, but the real move is climbing the South Tower for a top-down view of Marienplatz. It takes about 45 minutes to see the main hall and crypt. Skip the crowded Sunday services if you just want photos. Most Old Town walking tours stop here, but checking the crypt is worth the solo detour.
