High in the sky, see beautiful waterfalls cascading thousands of feet into the rainforest below, where remnants of ancient Hawaiian settlements are still visible. Named after the oldest volcanic mountain, the Kohala Mountains dominate the area and are considered by many to be the most spectacular landscape in Hawaii. Towering sea cliffs make for a dramatic backdrop along the rugged coastline.
Before returning, take in Waipi'o Valley, the childhood home of King Kamehameha I. Surrounded by cliffs up to 2000 feet high, view the ancient taro fields with rivers permeating the valley. Enjoy the multitude of cascading waterfalls and serene landscape of the mile-wide valley. Hear about the history of this majestic area from your helicopter pilot through your noise-cancelling headsets.

Check-in is 1-hour prior to tour time. This allows for guest weight check-in, a safety briefing, and to be escorted and seated on the aircraft to ensure an on-time departure. For each guest weighing over 240 pounds (108 kg), an adjacent empty seat is required to safely balance the aircraft. The second seat charge is half off of the regular tour price. Please arrange your additional seat after booking.
