Hit the slopes early to dodge the lift lines that snake around the base by 10am. Stick to the Sulinar run for a decent challenge, or head straight to the après-ski scene at Vatra Ardeleana for decent local beer and live music. The rental gear is mediocre, so bring your own if you can. Spend a full day here, then catch the bus back to Brasov before the road traffic gets absolutely insane.
