Skip the reenactment fluff unless you're into 19th-century woodworking demos or blacksmithing. The village works best as a breezy afternoon walk between Cape May beach sessions. Grab an iced coffee, wander through the historic buildings, and definitely hit the Cold Spring Brewery on-site for a pint in a converted barn. Spend two hours max—any longer and the historical chatter gets repetitive. Park in the back lot to save yourself the walk.
