We then continue deeper into the national park, stopping at the atmospheric Castell Bronllys set above the River Llynfi, a glimpse into medieval Wales and wonderful countryside views. Next, Tretower Court and Castle a medieval fortified manor house. Step back in time as you wander through its halls. Enjoy a drive through the picturesque town of Crickhowell, on and into the hills for a scenic stop at Keepers Pond for panoramic views and absorb the beauty of the landscape. Finally to Blaenavon a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll visit the historic ironworks and Big Pit National Coal Museum, where the story of coal mining and industry is brought vividly to life, the landscape still marked by quarries, furnaces, and mining heritage.
