Begin by crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, stopping at panoramic viewpoints before visiting the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, a famous film location. Continue through the Valley of the Roses to reach the dramatic Dades Gorge for sunset. On day two, explore the magnificent Todra Gorges on foot and drive the Road of 1000 Kasbahs. Discover the bustling market of historic Rissani before heading to Merzouga for a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes, spending the night in a desert camp under the stars. Day three begins with sunrise over the Sahara, followed by a journey through the verdant Ziz Valley, lunch in Midelt (the "apple village"), and a drive through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas before arriving in Fes.
