Skip the crowds at the main museum and hit this spot for the butterfly pavilion and the massive outdoor treehouse. It is definitely geared toward a younger demographic, but the nature trails feel isolated enough to actually hear yourself think. Don't waste time on the indoor exhibits if you are over ten; just grab a coffee nearby and wander the wooded paths behind the building. Spend an hour max, then head into Freedom Park.
