Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

Franklin Park Conservatory: Chihuly Glass & Tropical Humidity

Skip the main entrance crowd and head straight for the John F. Wolfe Palm House. The Victorian glass structure keeps you warm in winter, while the permanent Chihuly glass exhibits scattered throughout the biomes actually look cool in photos. Spend 90 minutes roaming the desert and monsoon collections. If you have extra cash, the seasonal exhibitions are usually worth the upgrade. Go on a weekday morning to avoid the rowdy kids and slow-moving strollers.
