Skip the paid tours and hike up the hill behind Copacabana for better views than the main plaza offers. This site feels eerie and raw, with just a few ancient stone structures standing against the wind. It takes about 30 minutes to climb from the town center. Catch the sunset here for the best lighting, but definitely head back down before it gets dark because the trail gets tricky. It is free and totally uncrowded.
