Skip this if you are expecting a massive forest. It is literally just one weirdly shaped, four-sided tree stuck in the middle of a short, muddy loop track near Kawhia. You will spend 20 minutes max checking it out. The geometry is cool for a quick photo, but it is hardly a destination on its own. Wear boots if it rained recently because the trail turns into a swamp. Do not drive hours for this.
