Skip the generic bus tours and book a timed entry online to avoid the massive afternoon queues. The manuscript itself is high-key impressive, but the real star is the Long Room library upstairs. It smells like old paper and looks exactly like a dark academia Pinterest board. Give yourself 60 minutes max. Don't bother with the overpriced guided tours if you just want photos; the exhibit signage explains everything perfectly fine on its own.
