Skip the main visitor centers and book a two-hour alumni-led walking tour to actually step inside the restricted quads. King’s College Chapel serves as the main photo op, but renting a private punt on the River Cam offers a better view of the Mathematical Bridge away from the masses. Spend three hours exploring, grab a sticky cinnamon bun from Fitzbillies on Trumpington Street, and stay off the grass. The students hate tourists walking on the lawn.
