Our tour will begin early in the morning. We will make several stops along the way. Our first stop will be in San Tadeo, where we’ll observe different species of hummingbirds, as well as other native birds from the area. After visiting the hummingbirds, we’ll enjoy a traditional breakfast in Mindo (optional). Our next stop will be at the Mindo butterfly sanctuary, where we’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the different species that live there, as well as their life cycle and reproduction. After this stop, we’ll take a hike through the Mindo-Nambillo cloud forest to the famous waterfalls, which will last approximately an hour and a half. At the waterfalls, you’ll have the option to swim, so it’s a good idea to have your swimsuit ready. Finally, we’ll visit the chocolate tour, where you’ll learn more about the process of making chocolate from cacao. On our way back to Quito, if time allows, we’ll make a stop at the Intiñan Museum. Admission fees are not included.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
