Skip the crowded inland pools and head here for the best surf break on K'gari. You need a 4WD to reach the rocky headland, but the beach fishing is legit. Stake out a spot on the northern side during low tide to dodge the heavy rips. Expect wilder, windier conditions than the rest of the island, so pack an extra windbreaker. Spend three hours here, then hit the champagne pools nearby.
