Fukuoka consists of two towns with different histories. Hakata, on the other hand, flourished as Japan's oldest international port and was a center of trade and diplomacy that was the departure point for Japanese envoys to Sui and Tang China in ancient times. On the other side of Fukuoka is the castle and its castle town built by Kuroda Nagamasa, a warlord of the Sengoku period, with his father Josui, across the Naka River.
On this tour, you and your Guide will visit two different cultural areas, a merchant town and a castle town, while experiencing the genesis and history of the city of Fukuoka.
