Salthill Promenade: Walking the 2km Seafront & Kicking the Wall

Walk the full 2km promenade from the Claddagh to Blackrock Diving Tower. Kick the wall at the end of the pier for good luck; it is a local requirement. The water stays freezing year-round, but jump in anyway. Skip the overpriced cafes right on the water and head back toward the city center for better coffee. If you want to cover more ground, the electric bike tour is a solid way to hit the whole coast.
