Ditch the traditional museums for this underground cave designed by B.V. Doshi. You walk on undulating, glass-topped floors while M.F. Husain’s paintings swirl across curved white walls. It is weird, cooling, and the perfect escape from Ahmedabad’s heat. Spend 45 minutes soaking in the architecture and the weird silhouettes. Go for the late afternoon light that filters through the turtle-shell roof gaps. Skip it if you hate claustrophobic spaces, otherwise, it is totally worth it.
