Skip the main road and head straight to Marktplatz for the colorful, high-gabled baroque houses. You can walk the whole center in under an hour, so don't overplan it. The Frauenkirche interior is worth a peek, but the real play is grabbing an espresso at one of the sidewalk cafes and people-watching. If you want a photo op, the color-matched facades near the fountain are the spot. Keep it simple and bring comfortable shoes.
