Skip the crowded Waikiki sand and head to this hidden cove for actual privacy. The steep, sketchy path down requires actual sneakers, so don't even try it in flip-flops. You get sharp lava rock views and perfect snorkeling, but watch the currents—lifeguards aren't patrolling here. Plan for two hours max, ideally just before sunset when the crowds from those overpriced circle island tours have finally left. It is worth the climb for the photos alone.
