Getting to this remote atoll requires a bumpy boat ride from Dangriga, but it pays off with some of the clearest water in the Caribbean. Spend your time snorkeling the outer wall or sea kayaking between the sandy cays. Skip the overpriced resort day tours and book a stay at an eco-lodge on Long Caye instead. Bring your own snorkel gear to avoid rental fees. It is basically the raw, unplugged ocean life you actually want.
