Drive the Furka Pass to find this shrinking giant. You can actually walk inside the glacier via a carved ice grotto that glows neon blue, but bring a jacket even in July. Give it 45 minutes to explore the tunnels and the glacial lake. Skip the overpriced souvenir shop and focus on the views before the ice melts further. It costs about 9 CHF, and seeing the retreat firsthand is a massive reality check.
