Walk the thin sand strip stretching into Lake Nicaragua when the water is low. It is arguably the best sunset spot on the island. Bring water shoes or flip-flops because the volcanic sand gets scorched. Skip the $130 package unless you need a full-day guide; a local taxi gets you there for way less. Spend about 45 minutes snapping photos before heading to the nearby bars for a cold Toña. Go right before dusk hits.
