This is a private, small-group photography experience led by a working professional photographer — not a tour guide with a camera. Maximum 3 guests means genuine one-to-one guidance throughout, from boat to island to clifftop. Most Skellig boats leave from Portmagee. We depart from Kenmare at 7.30am, with a scenic 50 minute drive to your licensed boat operator.
On the water, you'll circumnavigate the Little Skellig gannet colony — over 30,000 birds — at close range. On Skellig Michael, puffins nest within metres of the path. You'll have time, guidance, and the right vantage points to make images you're proud of, not just snapshots from a moving crowd.
