Head south from Chaweng for a slightly slower pace and deeper water. The white sand is coarser, but the swimming is way better since the seafloor drops off quickly. Check out the Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks for the weirdly shaped formations, then grab a cheap coconut at a beach bar. Avoid the overpriced resorts and stick to the north end for quieter vibes. Spend a full afternoon here, then walk to the night market.
