In this hands-on experience, you will shape, carve, and finish your own pair of chopsticks while learning about Japanese craftsmanship and the cultural role chopsticks play in everyday dining in Japan. The workshop takes place inside a traditional Kyoto machiya townhouse, offering a relaxing and authentic atmosphere that reflects the beauty and history of Kyoto. Each participant creates a completely unique pair of chopsticks that can be used daily at home.
