Don't bother driving up if the clouds are low, you won't see a thing. If it's clear, the 360-degree view of the volcanic crater is insane. Grab a milk-based soft serve at the stall near the parking lot—it's surprisingly legit. Spend 30 minutes max here unless you're joining an Aso Caldera tour that hits the nearby farms. Skip the souvenir shop and just walk the ridge trail for the best photo ops.
