Cameras aren't allowed inside, so just soak in the damp, claustrophobic magic. Plan for two hours, but realize you'll spend most of it waiting for the boat. Combine this with a Byblos trip if you're booking a private car to save time. Skip the expensive souvenir shops near the entrance.
