It's a deep descent down a steep staircase, but standing under the Great Stalactite—one of the world's longest free-hanging formations—is genuinely surreal. Skip the overpriced gift shop trinkets and focus on the cavern's damp, silent atmosphere. It takes about an hour total. Go mid-week to avoid the tour bus crowds. Wear shoes with grip because the floor is slick and you will get dripped on.
