Nemea is the largest and oldest wine region in Greece.
The wines produced here are of high quality while there are some varieties which are unique in the world such as the red "Agiorgitiko" . There are dozens of wineries to visit, each with its own varieties and wine labels.

Nemea is also known in mythology for Hercules who killed the vicious Lion that lived in the area and Nemean Games, dedicated to Zeus and familiar to the Olympic games. So there can be an optional visit to the archaeological site of ancient Nemea
