Skip the crowded beaches for an hour to see this inverted-boat tomb. It is Menorca's oldest building, held together by nothing but dry stone engineering. You cannot go inside for safety reasons, so do not expect a cave tour. Visit right at golden hour when the limestone glows and the tour buses have cleared out. Wear decent shoes for the rocky path and grab a cheap ticket at the gate. It is a quick, eerie, 45-minute pitstop.
See one of the world's largest natural harbors from the water. · Wander the winding streets of Menorca's historic capital city. · Explore the massive 19th-century fortress guarding Mahón bay.
