Skip the dry historical text and head straight for the bridge simulator where you actually pilot a cargo ship through the bay. It’s the only part of this massive maritime facility that doesn't feel like a grade school field trip. Spend two hours here tops, mostly in the interactive command center. The scale of the building looks cool from the riverfront, but don’t expect high-tech wizardry everywhere. Go for the simulation and leave before the crowds hit.
