Don't come for the empty rooms, come specifically for the Scala a Chiocciola. This self-supporting, open-center spiral staircase is a legit architectural flex that looks surreal from the top looking down. You need maybe 30 minutes tops to climb it, snap the symmetry shots, and leave. Grab a box of local Balsamic of Modena in town afterward. Skip the guided tour if you’re short on time and just pay the entry fee to explore the stairs alone.
