Rent a boat from Tidal River or book a cruise to see this massive granite monolith up close. You can't actually land on the island—the sheer cliffs make it impossible—but the view of the deep cavern from the water is wild. Keep your eyes peeled for fur seals lounging on the rocks. Spend an hour circling it at sunset for the best lighting. It’s a literal giant stone skull in the middle of the ocean.
