Skip the crowded funicular if you can hike; the queue for Kasprowy Wierch takes forever in peak season. Morskie Oko is the main event, but get the bus at 6am to beat the massive tour groups from Krakow. The trail is paved but tiring. Wear actual hiking boots, not sneakers. Pack layers because the mountain weather turns in minutes. If you want thermal baths after, book a private transfer to save your sanity.
