The spiral stone stairs in the castle will wreck your calves, but the rooftop view pays off. Spend three hours roaming the thatched cottages and petting the resident Irish Wolfhounds. Skip the overpriced banquet unless you enjoy forced singalongs. Grab a pint at Durty Nelly's right next door instead.
