Forget bringing your own gear if you're lazy, but boat charters provide everything you need for the three-hour trip. Arrive by 9am to beat the charter crowds from St. Croix. Pack reef-safe sunscreen and plenty of water, because the Caribbean sun is brutal once you step off that boat onto the sand.
