Skip the tour groups and just walk the maze of El Carmen. You need at least three hours to get lost between the street art and the 11th-century walls. If you’re hungry, avoid the menus in Plaza de la Reina and hunt for tapas near the Central Market instead. A private bike tour is actually worth it here to cover ground without dying in the heat. Bring water, comfortable shoes, and zero expectations.
