Climb the Campo Dunar at sunset for the best view of the Pacific without the Viña del Mar crowds. Rent a sandboard for a few thousand pesos at the base, but prepare for a workout—there are no lifts here. Spend two hours sliding down or just hanging out on the peaks. Skip the nearby touristy seafood spots and head to the local empanada stands instead. Wear sneakers you don't mind filling with sand.
