Skip the main island chaos and ferry over for Furuzamami Beach. You will actually swim with sea turtles here if you bring your own snorkel gear and hit the reef edge by 10am. Don't waste money on overpriced organized tours; the public bus gets you to the best spots for pennies. Spend two days minimum to really chill out. Bring cash for the local food stalls, as credit card machines are rare near the sand.
