Skip the crowded resorts and pull over for the massive volcanic rock guarding the road. You can see Bali across the strait while eating grilled fish at the local warungs. If you're into diving, the underwater park has surprisingly clear visibility for seeing coral. Most people just stop for 30 minutes to snap the 'Gandrung' statue, but staying for sunset hits harder. Bring water shoes because the shore is more pebbles than sand.
