Head straight to the second floor for Sue—the world’s most complete T-Rex—before the school groups swarm. The Egyptian mummies downstairs are legit, but the rotating 3D movies feel a bit dated, so skip those if you're short on time. Spend about three hours wandering through the giant animal dioramas and the Grainger Hall of Gems. Grab a bike from the Lakefront Segway Tour nearby to hit the rest of Museum Campus afterward.
