Skip the crowded resort towns and head here for the real Chapada Diamantina. You’re coming for the smoke-like Fumaça waterfall and the zero-gravity float at Pratinha Cave. Most people base themselves in Vale do Capão to tap into that low-key mountain energy. It’s a lot of hiking and cold river swims, so pack decent boots and leave the ego at home.
