Skip the ground-level pews and book the tower climb immediately. It’s the only reason to visit this 15th-century spot. The stairs are brutal, but the view of the Binnenhof and the North Sea from the top is legit. Spend 45 minutes up there, then head to the nearby Grote Markt for a beer. Don't bother with a formal historical tour here; the climb is the main character. Go on a clear day or don't bother.
